Meet our team
Whether it’s livestock and farming issues, technical advice, political advocacy, sustainability challenges or international trade, our team has this diverse, complex industry covered.
Nick Allen
Nick Allen has a deep understanding of the British meat and livestock industries having previously worked in market development roles for the Meat and Livestock Commission, AHDB and the English Beef and Lamb Executive (EBLEX).

David Lindars
David’s technical, operational and regulatory background has been built working for companies throughout the food supply chain including, Tesco, Whitbread and Foyle Food Group. This has given him a uniquely varied perspective on the British meat industry and its place in the wider economy.
His role at BMPA has further increased that perspective through his close involvement with Government departments, regulators and other trade bodies as he heads-up key research projects and consultations.
Peter Hardwick
Peter has worked in the international meat sector for 40 years. He has wide experience in meat production and processing as well as international trade including exports and policy.

Peter’s experience and deep knowledge of the meat industry along with his lucid and diplomatic approach are vital in helping BMPA members to navigate the choppy waters of Brexit and make sense of the new trading conditions once we leave the EU.
