To raise awareness and help prepare processing staff for a potential outbreak of African Swine Fever, AHDB are running a webinar focusing on the signs, consequences and operational impacts of an ASF outbreak.
The webinar is suitable for anyone working in abattoirs and pork processing plants, whether that’s on the line, in the lairage or in management roles. It will explore how working practices may need to adapt in response to an outbreak and highlight the critical role abattoirs play in early detection and containment. The one hour webinar will be held on Thursday 18 September at 5pm.
