Australian feed additive company gets heavyweight backing

Japanese giant Mitsubishi has announced a significant investment in Australian company CH4 which is developing a new seaweed-based feed additive for cattle (Methane Tamer) that claims to reduce methane emissions by up to 90%.

Mitsubishi’s involvement will bring not just monetary benefits, but expertise in logistics, production and regulatory processes. While initial expansion is focused on the Asi-Pacific region, CH4 and Mitsubishi have an eye to wider global adoption.
