The Worshipful Company of Butchers’ City Meat Lecture 2025 will tackle a lively question for our sector: “Is there a role for livestock and meat in a modern society?” Expect a frank discussion of health, economics and environmental claims that’s directly relevant to UK processors. Keynote speaker is Professor Chris Elliott OBE, with a chaired Q&A to probe the toughest points. The lecture is at Butchers Hall from 6-9pm on Wednesday 26 November.
