The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) is hosting a webinar for employers and trade bodies to explain the Jobs Guarantee Scheme, part of the Government’s wider Youth Guarantee programme.

The scheme aims to help young people move into sustained employment while supporting employers to access additional recruitment opportunities.

Under the scheme, eligible young people aged 18–24 who have been claiming Universal Credit and actively seeking work for at least 18 months will be offered fully funded, six-month paid employment opportunities.

The DWP expects the programme to support more than 90,000 young people over three years, working with delivery partners across 25 areas of Great Britain.
