This year’s City Meat Lecture is taking a rather different format, and should make for an interesting evening.
The Worshipful Company of Butchers will use the event on 22 October at Butchers’ Hall for a special screening of the feature-length documentary World Without Cows, followed by a panel discussion involving speakers from across the supply chain. The film asks a deliberately provocative question: would the world actually be better off without cows?
The City Meat Lecture takes place from 6pm–9pm on Thursday 22 October, with the screening beginning at 6.30pm followed by supper and networking. Tickets are £108 including VAT and places are limited.
