The move towards AI-assisted document checks is designed to speed up processing, improve consistency and reduce unnecessary delays for compliant traders; a welcome step as the industry continues to look for a more streamlined import process. It’s an encouraging sign that new technology is being used to cut costs and support both trade and border security.
