We saw a great example of farmer–processor collaboration this week. Woodheads is opening its doors for QMS ‘Meat the Market’ workshops, helping farmers see first-hand how livestock specifications, grading and carcase quality translate through the processing chain. Initiatives like this build understanding on both sides and can only strengthen the relationship between producers and processors.
